J.D. Salinger - The Complete Uncollected Short Stories (Volume 1 & 2)
J.D. Salinger - The Complete Uncollected Short Stories (Volume 1 & 2)
Pirated, 2-volume edition of Salinger's 22 short stories that had never been formally collected outside of their initial publication in various magazines, anonymously printed in 1974, paperback. Previously appearing in Esquire, Collier's, Story and Saturday Evening Post, several stories feature Holden Caulfield pre-Catcher in the Rye, as well as the Glass Family (appearing in Hapworth 16, 1924 - the last piece Salinger published in his lifetime). Distribution of the books was blocked by a court injunction at Salinger's behest and all subsequent bootleg printings were halted. As of now, the Salinger Trust has no official plans to reprint any of these works.
Both volumes have light foxing to the paper wraps and general wear; prior owner's name appears on first page of second volume; binding on both volumes good, text free of markings.
