Raymond Chandler - The Big Sleep

1st paperback printing, Avon.  Wraps in fine shape with cover illustration retaining vivid coloring.  Rear cover with glamour shot of Billy Shakespeare has light foxing along top & right edge, a small bit of paper loss at upper left corner.  Spine has some fading & a slight lean, text is clean & binding surprisingly intact, given its age.  A scarce, collectible copy of Chandler's blockbuster, prized for its Paul Stahr illustration.
