1st edition, Delacorte. Unclipped DJ with handling & shelf wear, chipping at edges, some staining (see photos for details); boards fine, binding tight, some foxing to text block, no markings to text. Signed & inscribed by Richard Brautigan on title page to Tina & Terry Clark, the former of the two was a reporter for an Arkansas newspaper & met Brautigan on his author tour for the book. Included is a newspaper clipping of her article covering the event as well as an illustrated promotional booklet from the event, outlining Brautigan's previous works & tour itinerary. Taped onto rear freepaper is a newspaper clipping announcing the author's suicide, with "Died October 1984, what a waste!" written beneath it. A copy with some flaws to its jacket but novel & significant for its ephemera & Brautigan's signature. Jacket in archival Brodart.
