The Autobiography of Malcolm X - Malcolm X with Alex Haley

1st edition/1st Castle Books printing from 1965 (printed the same year as the Grove Press first edition).  DJ is price-clipped with rubbing & shelf wear to front & back, some chipping along edges but primarily localized at crown & base of spine, which has some fading to title ("The Autobiography of" is nearly invisible, while "Malcolm X" is still clear & prominent).  Tan boards are clean with minimal wear & age, prior owner's name on flyleaf, otherwise free of markings, binding tight.  Increasingly hard to find in its early hardcover iterations.  Jacket in archival Brodart.
