2nd American Edition Box Set w/ publisher's slipcase, Houghton Mifflin, 1974. Fellowship of the Ring noted as 12 printing, The Two Towers & Return of the King 11th printings, respectively. Slipcase in fine condition, minor wear/scuffing from age & handling. No tears or splitting to any of the three dust jackets & scant wear evident, just a faint touch of toning to jacket spines, otherwise remarkably crisp. Black cloth boards on all three clean, stamped lettering & eye/ring impressions still vibrant, only some mild dulling to the Return of the King spine. Maps intact in all three volumes.
