1st edition/1st printing, Lippincott. Unclipped DJ shows no tanning/fading or color loss to covers, no chipping, tears or splitting, some discoloration to edges of interior jacket flaps at edges; the jacket has been preserved in an archival protector by previous owner that is vinyl/polyester & adhesive-based, so while the protector covering the jacket can be cleaned it cannot, to my knowledge, be removed; spotting to publisher's dye on top-edge of text block, bumping to rear corner of board, some age & general wear evident at edges; grey boards with muted horn signal fairly clean, yellow cloth spine lightly worn, stamped black titling sharp; prior owner's name on front pastedown, water/moisture on flyleaf (shown), dampstain visible mostly to title page, soiling/dampstain visible near top of textblock fore-edge & concluding pages, does not interfere or appear within text body, no markings within, binding very firm. A nice copy of Pynchon's second book with some flaws, reflected in our pricing.
